Orlando Film Festival
The Orlando Film Festival brings the best of independent film to Florida and has been doing so for a number of years. From the opening night party to the wrap party, there's never a dull moment as shorts, features films, and documentaries are screened for the public's pleasure. This high profile festival attracts the Hollywood elite - including Oscar winners and A-list actors - and, between screenings, patrons can get to explore the nearby comedy clubs and restaurants.

Walt Disney World Marathon
Walt Disney World is just 30 minutes south of Orlando and plays host to the annual Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Runners can choose to participate in either the half-marathon or the full marathon and can even sign up for both; those that do accept Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. All races are run through the four Disney theme parks: Epcot Center, Hollywood Studios, the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom, and participants can also attend the Health and Fitness Expo.

Florida Music Festival
Every spring, downtown Orlando rocks to the sounds of the Florida Music Festival, where up to 250 bands play on 15 stages for three days to more than 25,000 people. The festival gives all participating bands and solo acts - from national headliners to virtual unknowns - a chance to get their music in front of the masses and is divided into three main sections: The music industry educational conference, the showcases and the festival main stage performances.

Orlando Festivals of Speed
The Orlando Festivals of Speed, which is held in the city every year, invites visitors to slow down and take a closer look at all forms of transportation. From contemporary and vintage vehicles to watercraft and from aircraft to motorcycles, the festival has it all and can be described as a glimpse into the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Add a luxurious hotel's open bar, tasty hors d'oeuvres presented in themed displays and mellow jazz and this quickly becomes the city's premier festival.

Annual Orlando International Chinese Martial Arts Championship
"Friendship through martial arts" is the slogan of the Annual Orlando International Chinese Martial Arts Championship, and this tournament attracts participants and spectators from all over the world. Combatants - with or without weapons - engage in various disciplines including Wing Chun, Taiji and Wushu, and range in age from eight years old to adult. The championship forms part of the ICMAC Worldwide Circuit, and its goal is to promote and increase interest in Chinese martial arts.
